As well as electronics manufacturing and circuit board assembly, we manufacture and sell our own high-quality emergency lighting products.

Our GFL156 evacuation light is produced especially for fire security services that install fire systems. These lights are mandatory in commercial buildings.

Like all our work, the GFL156 and accompanying PSU118 uninterruptible power supply are manufactured to the highest possible quality standards and comply with all legal requirements.

Features of GFL156 lights

  • A 125-watt xenon strobe unit that flashes at two pulses per second (adjustable)
  • Built into a custom-made well glass fitting with a green diffuser
  • Three 6V 1.2Ah batteries to power the unit for two hours after supply is cut
  • Uses building wire, rather than fire-resistant cabling
  • Usually connected in parallel with a Rapier Electronics PSU188 uninterruptible power supply
  • Two positive and negative screw terminals to interconnect the units

Features of PSU118 uninterruptable power supply

  • Supplies power to GFL156 units to maintain battery charge and keep in standby mode until a fire event
  • Enables the GFL156 units to operate once the PSU188’s 24V output is cut
  • Can supply power to up to 10 GFL156 evacuation light units

Note: The 24vDC supply to the GFL156 must be uninterruptible (either PSU188 or other), as the GFL156 must operate only when the fire control relay is cut – not during a mains failure.
